Toscha Seidel on YouTube

YouTube user dkurgano aims to upload all his recordings of Toscha Seidel (along with accompanying photographs) to YouTube. There are about a dozen clips so far with the promise of more to come. This will be a great resource for violinists and those who enjoy musicianship of the highest quality, as most of Seidel’s recordings are out of print and difficult to obtain.

OpenStomp has released an open source guitar effects pedal, the Coyote-1. The device allows users to create patches which can be saved and shared with others via software (Windows) interface. IDK if the software is open, but there are currently no Linux or Mac versions planned.

About seven years ago, when he was fretting about the diminishing audience for the weekly lucha libre spectacle at the El Alto gym, Mamani had the inspired idea to teach women to wrestle and put them in the ring in cholita clothes.
