Lost Victorian Austin chronicles the loss of several outstanding Victorian homes in Austin, Texas: the Butler House, the Houghton House and the Hunnicutt House. These three beautiful homes were replaced by a parking lot, a parking garage and another parking lot, respectively, during the 1970s. Several others, including the Kinsolving house, the Kreisle house, and the Burlington house were demolished during the 1950s.
The House house (shown below), my personal favorite of the bunch, was destroyed by fire in 1968.
