Last night I watched the Voice of Firestone: The Great Tenors DVD. I was familiar with most of the singers on the disc and I had heard Richard Tucker before, but I was floored by his performance of the Neopolitan medley. I really admire the darkness and depth of his voice. I couldn’t find any video of the medley, but here he is singing E Lucevan le Stelle from Tosca and another of Tucker singing a duet with Robert Merrill from La Forza del Destino.
