We went to the Lucha Libre last night at the Plaza de Toros, and sat through four events, including a round robin every-man-for-himself match that included almost every single archetype known to wrestling. For my money, the women put on the best show by far. Here are the photos.

The Tec de Monterrey campus is full of fun animals like this peacock. I’ve been having a good time watching them the past few days.

Check out the new Apple TV-like flickr eye candy at flickr ticker. For now it supports filtering by user name, ID and search query. Give my user name a try. Update: Here is a greasemonkey script to make it easier to get to a user’s ticker from their photo page.

I don’t normally buy into numerology, but this thread inspired me to quickly compile a list of the great violinists whose names are spelled with thirteen letters.
Contemporary artists of note who are endowed with 13 letter names include Itzhak Perlman, Ruggiero Ricci, Oliver Steiner and Maxim Vengerov. Introducing Brian Griffith, ladies and gentlemen. (I gathered the names of violinists from this website.)
