Problems With Evolution

Last night Evolution greeted me with the following error: Evolution Cannot get folder `Inbox': Value too large for defined data type. Apparently my Inbox file had reached the 2gb maximum file size. Evolution would not load my inbox or check for new messages. Since I just wanted to check for new messages and didn’t need to access any old mails, I closed Evolution and then renamed $HOME/.evolution/mail/local/Inbox to Inboxold. Then restarted Evolution. While this solved my immediate problem of not being able to get new messages, it leaves my old inbox file inaccessible. I looked around online and found this solution, but certainly there must be an easier way to access my old inbox file.

I posted a link to Microsoft’s WorldWide Telescope a few months ago, but I’ll mention it again since I’ve been hearing a lot of people talking about it.
